Morphe YouTube
Morphe is a free, open-source Android patcher that turns the official YouTube app into an ad-free, feature-packed version. It was released in January 2026 by several former ReVanced developers and contributors, and it quickly became one of the most talked- about ReVanced alternatives. If you've searched for "Morphe YouTube", this guide covers what it is, what it can do, how to install it and how it compares to ReVanced.
What is Morphe?
Morphe is an app-patching tool. Like ReVanced, it doesn't give you a ready-made modded APK. Instead, its Morphe Manager app takes the original YouTube APK and applies patches on your own phone. Android Authority reported the launch on 6 January 2026.
The official site is morphe.software, and the code is on GitHub under MorpheApp.
The official site says Morphe doesn't add analytics or data collection to patched apps.

How to install Morphe YouTube (step by step)
1. Download Morphe Manager from the official site, morphe.software, or the MorpheApp GitHub page.
2. Install the APK and allow "Install unknown apps" when Android asks.
3. Open Morphe Manager and let it scan your installed apps.
4. Select YouTube. The Manager shows the supported YouTube version and links to a trusted download if you need the original APK.
5. Choose a mode. Simple mode applies the recommended patches with one tap. Expert mode lets you pick individual patches.
6. Patch and install. Patching happens on your phone. The patched app installs next to the original YouTube with its own icon.
7. Install MicroG RE when the patched app prompts you, then sign in with your Google account.
Morphe vs ReVanced: which should you use?
Which one to pick: if you want the simplest setup, try Morphe's Simple mode. If you prefer the original, longer-running project, use ReVanced Manager. Both are free, so you can test each one. Don't mix their MicroG apps: an app patched with Morphe needs MicroG RE, and an app patched with ReVanced needs ReVanced GmsCore. See our MicroG guide for details.

Is Morphe safe?
Morphe is open source, patches apps locally and, according to its official site, adds no tracking. The biggest risk is downloading a "Morphe APK" from an unofficial site. Use only morphe.software or the MorpheApp GitHub page. As with any patched app, using it may break YouTube's terms of service.
